Got some sweet comics from kingtrash/spacefacebooks and cardboardlife/hicandhoc at Secret Headquarters in LA!

Nice find!  I’m sold out of those Looking Out comics, but apparently Secret Headquarters still has some.

From now until December 31, Hic & Hoc is having an End of the Year Blasphemy Sale. Just enter the code BLASPHEMY and get 20% off your order at the Hic & Hoc store!

That means you can get Philippa Rice’s bittersweet psychedelic sci-fi romance Looking Out for only $4!

Sorry to have missed Thought Bubble this past weekend but Lizz Lunney and Joe list sent along photos of the contributors picking up their copies of The Hic & Hoc Illustrated Journal of Humo(u)r Volume II: The United Kingdom.  Pictured above are Philippa Rice, Jack Teagle, Dan Berry, Donya Todd, Timothy Winchester, Lizz hoarding books from a sneering Joe, Gareth Brookes, Stephen Collins, Becky Barnicoat and Liz Greenfield.  More to follow!

An excerpt from Philippa Rice’s contribution to the Hic & Hoc Illustrated Journal of Humo(u)r Volume 2, now available at the Hic & Hoc store, as are copies of Philippa’s (twice) Ignatz-nominated Looking Out.

Here’s a segment of the 4 page comic I did for the Hic & Hoc Illustrated Journal of Humour Volume 2 which is out now and available to buy in the Hic & Hoc shop.
There’s a launch party on the 25th October at Gosh Comics in London too so you might as well come to that if you’re around town.

Tim & Philippa Rice! http://bit.ly/1dnokBE

Philippa’s Looking Out was a super big hit at SPX.  Those two Ignatz noms  couldn’t have hurt, I’d imagine.
I got a copy of Timothy Winchester’s People I Know book, which looks rad.

I was just cleaning up the Hic & Hoc office and found one last copy of this stunning Philippa Rice print.  It’s free to the next person who buys $20 or more worth of stuff from the Hic & Hoc store.
