Oh whoops … I could have sworn I posted this review of the first issue of Laura Knetzger’s Bug Boys but instead it just sadly sat in my draft folder feeling neglected. SORRY, Ms. K. I really dig Laura’s approach to all-ages comics: make them funny and sophisticated without being patronizing. I’m all over that. Unfortunately, my kids are more into Johnny Ryan type stuff so I’ll be reading the other four issues of Bug Boys by myself.
