I had never heard of Paul B. Rainey (although it looks like he’s quite a prolific comic artist) before I read this comic, Love Bomb, which came out sometime around 1997. It’s surprisingly good, notwithstanding the less than visually appealing cover. The best story, part of which is shown above, involves a kid who finds a skin-shedding man who lives outside who transforms into Emma Bunton so our hero can convince his buddies that he’s dating Baby Spice.
